Reviewers from CNN-IBN found difficult to slot the genre of the song, and felt the vocals by Neeti Mohan, Sunidhi Chauhan and Singh makes the song worth a hear with their talent. The song was shot in Munnar which is located in the Idukki district of the southwestern Indian state of Kerala. Mohan collaborated with the music director duo for her debut Hindi song "Ishq Wala Love" from Student of the Year (2012) and "Dil Kaagzi" from Gippi (2013).
